T-Systems’ innovations are not science fiction. They are reality. See for yourself:
With G-Win, T-Systems has built up the world’s most modern scientific network – with over 700 access lines and transfer rates of up to 2.5 Gigabit/s to universities and research facilities.
T-Systems has installed Europe’s largest virtual hard drive: “Network Attached Storage” has a storage capacity of nearly 100 terabytes and renders local hard drives superfluous.
For the first time ever, T-Systems has succeeded, together with the Heinrich Hertz Institute, in transmitting data at a rate of 160 Gigabit/s (160 billion bits per second) on a single carrier wave along a standard fiber link. This proves that existing networks are also suitable for transmitting huge amounts of data.
